A little about me

After more than thirteen years immersed in product and digital marketing at technology and media companies large and small, I transitioned into software engineering and forged fluency in two seemingly distinct languages: design and development. 

This dual fluency is my superpower. I don’t build features blindly – I understand the ‘why’ behind them and the purpose they serve for users and products. Strong design involves more than just implementing features – it requires recognizing the purpose components serve for users and considering how they experience the product. 

My background allows me to forge a powerful connection between creative vision and technical execution to craft solutions that are ‘sticky’ with users while meeting rigorous technical standards. 

When I’m not coding, you can find me painting or in the clay arts studio. A creative thread moves between my artistic pursuits and engineering practice.
